We are afraid of the wrong things

Source: dwellingsdesigngroup.blogspot.com

There is a degree of comparison to what each individual perceive as wrong.  Wrong things are anything perceived as unethical or immoral in the view of the spectators.  We are culprits to being afraid of the wrong things yet fear does not prevent us from doing wrong.  I am afraid of heights yet I live on the 5th floor in my complex, but I am afraid of killing because it is wrong and that would prevent me from killing someone. Mainly fear of wrong things manifest from the concoction of social opinion of right and wrong of the event at hand or self morals.

Some have said that, right arose from the recurring occurrence of the wrong past, is that the source of fear or it’s the morality that drives the fear in doing wrong, again the is a degree of comparing to how wrong something can be. Doing wrong for a good reason or what we think might be a good reason eliminates the fear but what’s necessary true to an individual is not universal to the masses

We should let things be and stop being afraid of the wrong things. We can conquer and achieve.  Find humor in some of your fears and that will make it easier. Fear is what hinders us to try new things. We fear things that we should not, instead of embrace it. Don’t be afraid of what people’s perceptions of you are. Do not be afraid of trusting your instincts and have the confidence in yourself. I believe in myself that I will embrace all that is and chuck out all that is not.

What is the colour of the wind?

Source: ledr.com

I do not like wind. It can be cold or warm, I do not like it. Scientifically, it does not have a colour but in my deepest hate for wind I will give it a colour: Grey. Particles in the wind can influence its colour. For example if wind has dust particles it can be brown or if there is smoke the wind can be grey.

Grey is a mysterious colour. It reminds me of a more balanced darkness (evil), mourning evoking an insincere emotion. Cold wind is cooling for them on a hot day. To me wind is a grey bully. I do not like having to pull or hold my dress if there is wind. I do not want to be forcefully pushed by some phantom force. Wind limits your activity.  Another fact I do not like about wind is that it blows litter therefore destroying the environment.

The colour of the wind can be anything if you think out of the box. I am feeling grey all thanks to the weather. It could have been a beautiful day, but its windy.

If I were the boss

Source: amazon.co.uk

I would spoil myself to a well deserved holiday for a year. I will need it since I have been working for many years building my empire and since I am the boss I can do what I like. My year long vacation will be beneficial for me and my business. I will take a break, and come back the following year with innovative ideas for the business. My vacation plan allows me to travel to 24 countries and all continents, meaning two countries per month.

Since I am the boss and I am going on vacation, I will appoint someone as Acting CEO. He/she will have to make decisions based on my discretion and decision. I do not want to carry so much with me so my iPad and cellphone is fine.

Money is not a problem; after all I am the boss. I have money. I’m rich. I can afford going to 24 countries, remember, money is not a problem. I would spend my days sleeping, shopping, sight-seeing, partying and more shopping. I am the boss.

Two people walk out of a building and into a story

It was the annual Valentine’s Day Ball at an arts school in a far away town. Tiki and Tshalo were best friends and were dates at the ball. The tickets were expensive for a school pupil but it was worth it.  Valentine’s Day Ball was the best event in the school’s calendar. Everyone who attended had to be formally dressed. A delicious three course set menu was served, beautiful decor and awards were given while love songs were played in the background.
Tiki’s dress was so beautiful; she would have looked like a princess on that evening. While doing her hair, nails and make-up, Tiki’s roommate in hostel decided to invite a boy into their room who needed to have his hair braided. Boys were not allowed in girls’ side and vice versa, this spelt TROUBLE for the girls. While arguing about the matter, a little birdie told the matron about the incident in Tiki’s room. Poor girls were caught, with the boy. They were not allowed to go to the ball that night.
Tiki’s heart was shattered. Still dressed in her gown, Tshalo called her name in the corridor so they can leave for the ball. Shocked to see her in a gown, he was furious that his date could not go to the ball with him. Looking out of the window, poor Tiki broke into tears when she saw her date, her best friend walked out of hostel with another girl around his arm, Guluva.  Tiki made a promise to herself that for the next years of her highschool life, she will never attend a Valentine’s Day ball with anyone.

It is a poor idea to lie to yourself

Source: www.tylershields.com

One of the things that separates us from having what we want is that we blatantly lie to ourselves. We lie about our priorities and abilities. We lie to ourselves about how a situation is, plus it kills time.

Lying to ourselves is an excuse for not taking action. We find excuses such as “I don’t have the time to” If we “don’t have the time”, let’s ask ourselves: Do you watch TV? Do you oversleep? Do you spend more time on your phone? Do you procrastinate? If you answered yes to most of the questions ten you can make time to learn and do more empowering activities such as school, gym, travel, start a business etc.

If we were to stop lying to ourselves, we would have to take action to change things. Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself “what am I doing with my time that does not have long term value?” everything you do not have in your life is due to coming up with excuses and lying to yourself.

Fish Falling from the Sky

Source: www.catholicforum.com
I read an article online about this matter. Charmane Awitan from ABS-CBN News reported that in Manila, Phillipines, about 72 fish fell from the sky. The fish were collected and placed in an aquarium. The article did not provide any substantial information with regards to possible causes of this phenomenon. I took the liberty to do readings online on what could cause fish to fall from the sky.

An article on Scienceline (www.scienceline.org) titled “Australian meat ants enjoy cane toads a la cat food” states that waterspouts are the causes of fish falling from the sky. Waterspouts are tornadoes over water that form when cold air moves over warm water. They can go around 200 miles an hour, therefore thrashing into the air anything that is one yard above the surface of the water which can be fish. Waterspouts can lift the fish into the clouds. The fish in the clouds is carried over land until the host cloud cannot carry the fish anymore, by the time they rain down, the fish are dead. Raining fish is not common and it has been centuries since an event such as this has been reported.

Scientifically I believe that fish can fall from the sky yet I do regard this as strange weather as this as paranormal.

Not all who wander are lost

source: http://www.freedictionary.com/

You may be on a path of a journey, wandering. Perhaps that is the point of your journey. When you are wandering, you are moving about without an exact destination or purpose.  The quote is taken from JRR Tolkein (also quoted in The Lord of The Rings); I have tried to interpret the line. I defined it as perception and assumption.
Someone may seem to be lost yet they have their own agenda of which they will not account for, hence wandering. I perceived that wandering is the point of your journey yet   I assume that how can you tell the difference between knowing if you are lost or wandering. Some of us may be wandering because we have to or others are wandering because they do not know what to do.
Perhaps getting lost is reason to being lost on your path and you feel that any direction is as good as any. You may end up finding some precious things along the way while you were lost. I am on a journey and I am wandering with means to achieve the purpose of my journey knowing that I am not lost.
